I saw an eagle do that earlier this year. There was a bunch of canadian geese on the ice and I looked over and saw the eagle flying away just after it caught what it had. I missed the actual catching of whatever it had (big fish or small goose) but it flew really low to the ice. Whatever it had was heavy. lol
