When I was 4 years old a new family moved in next door to me. They had a son my age. We became instant best friends for life. He had a sister just a couple years younger than us. She was beautiful beyond compare. They belong to the Seminole tribe. I spent many holidays with them. Visiting family on tribal land. Every summer we would take a weekend trip to watch the powwow. I fell in love with the culture and people.
