Modoc Woman Seeking Tradish Native Man waq lis i (Greetings), I am Modoc, Hupa, Chetco and Tolowa Native and enrolled with the Klamath Tribes in Oregon. I learned from my sisters a few years ago that we are direct descendants from Kientpuash, the last Modoc Chief also known by the whites as Captain Jack. He was the last Modoc Chief who fought along many brave souls against the calvary at the Lava caves of Southern Oregon/Northern California. He was protecting his tribe's way of life, their land, their freedom, their culture... There is much more to the story.
