I wear turquoise, ambler, lemon citrus and patchouli. My path is that of a twisting serpent, coiling, releasing, and shedding the old skin every now and then to birth into another phase of the human gig. I am one of the people whose family history mysteriously stops in the late 1800's. My mother and grandfather looked Native American, but, the mystery remains. Maybe I should do a DNA test? When I was a child, our family vacations were spent on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Northern Wisconsin. Other vacations were spent going to different parts of the country, seeing different reservations. My sister married a Navajo man, so I am blessed with seeing Navajo land in Northeastern Arizona. I now live in the Hudson River Valley, just north of New York City. The land of the Lenape, who no longer dwell here. Maybe I am living here again, after many lifetimes of it not being ok to be Lenape on the land we loved. Have you ever walked a trail, and when your feet touch the familiar path, you know that you loved the land before, and it was fruitful for you? You loved it, as it loved, provided and nurtured you.
