I can't say that I have an ounce of Native blood in me. What I can say is that from my youth, I have had a deep love for the Native people. It's such a beautiful culture. The struggles they have endured, and yet they continue to push forward! When I found out the indigenous people of Puerto Rico were the Tainos, I fell instantly in love with them, as well. My hope is to meet a Native woman I can share not only the rest of my life with, but also to teach me about her people. I would like to spend hours just talking about that. I would love to go to ceremonies, pow wows etc. Are you out there?
