Gun shy but looking....?

Gun shy but looking....? Just looking for friendship right now, (I think?)but hoping something may eventually lead to a lifelong relationship with a wonderful NATIVE man. I am new to this whole thing and a bit scared to be honest. Have been in long term relationships ( 3 in 30 years, and 1 of them my husband (the good one)passed away) I ---- in and gave them my all, only to be abused and disrespected -they were alcoholics. I am a veterinary technician by trade for about 23 years, though I have not practiced for about 9 years-my passion and compassion for animals and healing has been with me since I was a very young child.
