i am a strong mohawk woman..ive been raised with the traditional longhouse traditions..my family is political and strong willed..although ive strayed away and tried to find out who i am as an individual..ive always come back to my native upbringing to guide me in my life..those voices from my elders are part of who i am today..ive had to learn the hard way sometimes..tried to do things my way..but it turns out that the native way is the only way to live my life..today i can say that im proud to be native..i try to instill these same values and beliefs into my children..in todays society its hard to do that..its a struggle..i save my breath and show by example..its much easier to talk the talk when you walk the walk..ive been single now for 7 years..trying to find my purpose and find out who i am, what i want and where i want to go at this point in my life..ive done alot of soul searching to find peace and to come to terms with the things that have happened in my life..now that im somewhat at peace with that..i find that id like to share my life with someone now..i feel that now i can be a good partner with someone..im willing to sacrifice and compromise and im not as selfish now..id like to meet someone who compliments my lifestyle and urges me to grow and question my surroundings and decisions..id like someone to laugh with because i love to laugh..its helped me through alot of tough times..someone who will be there through not only the good times but also the difficult times..someone who will be there till the time comes to be with the creator..if thats you..lets give it a try!!
