At this stage, I'd like a good friend/colleague. Someone to talk with, to share with and to review the day and discuss the future - and I do mean a dialogue, not monologue with me doing all the listening. I'll answer any question without hesitation but simply do not see the need to begin a relationship discussing the past. That's just what it is ... "the past." An excellent teacher, but without a lot of knowledge about the other person, talking about a slice of history is, in my humble opinion, not a good beginning and one that's destined for failure.

I am a nonprofit executive with an organization focused on the epidemic levels of youth suicide in Indian country. (I'm Northern Cherokee and Ojibwa.) I've owned my own businesses and worked at the senior management levels of public corporations. Most of that time was in satellite delivered broadband communications. I'm looking for someone with similar traits to share time with - someone that's self assured and independent and that still has goals and aspirations. I'll "work" until I leave this planet and to do otherwise simply isn't my idea of living. I've not returned to the Creator all that I owe and am bound and determined to do just that.

For now you could be "just a friend" or someone looking for a meaningful relationship - but regardless, someone that is self confident and assured. In the beginning, it's a get to know one another and to see whee things will go. Sorry, but I'm not into an immediate dating type of interaction/relationship and so if that means we start with coffee (or tea if you don't drink coffee), then that's whit I think might be the best.
