Lost I have joined to try and make some connections. But I suppose that is obvious enough. I would love to be able to tell which tribes I am from as I know I am majority Native American but my history has been so that I can not. My paternal grandmother was Native American Apache that came to Mississippi from the Texas area in the 1920s or 30s. On my mother's side with Great-grandparents being Native American, Choctaw and Chickasaw. I have tried my whole life to find a way to prove my ancestry but unfortunately there were no birth certificates issues that we can find. I have always had a strong attachment to my roots but feel so lost that I can not prove it therefore many do not accept me. With my paternal aunts and uncles there is no doubt when looking at them but while some characteristics have carried over to me it is not as obvious.
