Looking for Mohawk friends I enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, making soap from scratch, and quilting. I love to learn and am trying to figure out how to spin yarn, I'm insanely bad at it but hey, practice makes perfect right? lol I have spent a lot of time learning about my ancestors & their differing cultures, stories, and cooking. Dutch, Welsh, German, Cherokee...with one glaring exception recently discovered in the family tree, a Mohawk wife. Reading books & online information just isn't cutting it for me, but it's been enough to give me an idea that she contributed far more to the way my family thinks than any of the other cultures.
