I am 1/4 Seminole Indian but more resemble my German mother. I am immensely proud of my native blood, but in all honesty, I was not raised in the culture as my father (the late country music star Jimmy Cook) was on a Florida res. I would love to know more about Native American life. I feel I have neglected a vital part of my heritage and want to rediscover my roots. I am a recording artist and writer, born and raised in New York but now living in Oklahoma. I have been married and have one wonderful son. I love music, dancing, creative writing, staying in shape, puppets, plants, animals, children and people in general. I'm told I'm easy-going, trustworthy, warm affectionate, playful and GOOFY. Life is too short to be miserable. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I am however, addicted to chocolate.

It occured to me when I stumbled across this site that my last two long term relationships (including the marriage) were with part Native Americans. I suppose I have always found Native people to be among the kindest, most beautiful and most honorable.
I have a my space account, if you'd like to know more about me. www. myspace. com /mizmelody
