MohawkDreams I think our family past is still alive within us. I'm a mixed blood american with Mohawk/Choctaw (or Chickesaw or Cherokee and/or other)on my mother's side as well as European ancestors. I'd like to learn more about the cultures my ancestors came from and make friends within them. I'm also a healthcare provider and am concerned about the state of public health on the reservations. Ever since I was a child I've never really "connected" with white Euro culture. What I've read about indian spirituality makes much more sense to me and feels right. I live near the Indian Canyons in Palm Springs and love the earth energy here. I like hiking, lifting weights, lots of music, dancing, ocassional bar-hopping, reading, history..
