I'm comparing my Ancient Hebrew roots with primarily the Lakota struggle against western influence and humiliating tactics of oppressive government. Both cultures are actually facing the same thing regarding the loss or perversion of language and the exploitation of holy customs for the sake of monetary gain. As well as the ion of children only to be assimilated to the customs of the dominating nation. There are many other topics that parallel very well.
