I am a white woman, drawn to the traditions and culture of Native People, especially the Lakota/Buffalo culture. I love going to Powwows and want to learn more about the ceremonies and spiritual road but am a little lost, being on the outside looking in. Plus, there is so much to do!!! I want to help the People, perhaps take back some of what has been lost, improve living conditions, and more. I love nature--that is my religion. I also enjoy cooking, a wide variety of music, watching videos, reading, animals, solitary walks, meditation, painting & drawing, writing poetry and so on. I'm more inward, but like a turtle, I like to come out every once in a while.
