Hello, I am an intelligent, loving, adventurous woman seeking a male counterpart. I love the mountains, nature, the outdoors, travel, cooking, movies, spending time talking about life, and just living life. I recently got out of a 10 year long relationship. I crave the closeness of a partner that I never really had in my prior relationship. I am not interested in a controlling partner. This is not to say that I am bossy, but rather like to be respected as not only a woman, but also as a fellow human being. I love the differences between men and women and don't feel either is "superior". I am looking for someone, preferably in the West or Midwest, where I have spent most of my life. Currently, I am in Michigan, but I am hoping to move soon. At this point, I could travel almost anywhere though. I am looking for a friend, which may lead to a long term relationship if it works out.
