Mix-blood Cherokee
Mix-blood Cherokee I'm a mix blood of Cherokee, Scotch-Irish, and Italian ancestry, but I've always been interested in my native background. I protested for Native Civil Rights in the late 1970's and early 1980's. As a student at UCDavis, I minored in Native American Studies, but I also spent time at DQ University helping out with the legal battles and going to the powwows.

I have several native friends and have attended traditional ceremonies.

I am a single mom with 3 kids (ages 21, 18, and 12) who live with me, along with 3 dogs, 6 horses, 2 goats, and a donkey.

I teach college at a local private art school.
