A little of the Native blood, but alot of Native Passion Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. My Great Grandmother was full Cherokee. I met a Native American friend from the Cherokee Nation about 2 years ago and a Dakotah friend about a year ago. These friends have inspired and encouraged me to try to find lost/unknown information about my native family. Even though I am not 100% native there has always been a guge draw for me to anything Native American, especialy my ancestrty I amn sadened that my family took so little interest in knowing and passing down that part of my backgroud. I have a great desire to know, understand and be part of that piece of me which feels completely connected to my soul and spirity but has been neglctfully forgotten by others in my family. I am the only one who even seems to care about where I come from. I know however that my native blood, no matter what percentabe cannot be taken away from me by those who believe that anything less than 100% native is none at all. I cannot be erased from my ancestry nor it taken away from me.
