I feel a strong an abiding respect for the spirit and spirituality of the Native Americans. I have Cherokee, on my mothers side and Iroquois, from my Dad. Although so many generations have pasted, the blood line has been severely diluted, there is still a overwhelming calling to me. I am a very spiritual being, my God, lives in nature, with all of its splendor and wonder. My God is in the night sky, with the fire flies of our universe. He is in our mighty rivers, but also in a lazy, babbling brooke. I feel in the morning sunrise, a special gift to make amends for the mistakes of the day before, the setting sun, to give thanks for the wonder of the day spent. So much of my blood flows white, its that part of me that feels the guilt of what my ancestors did to such a noble and pure and proud people. What Indian blood that still flows in me, or if it is only in my spirit, I feel so very fortunate, a special gift from my creator.
Quit honestly, I'm not sure what I'm looking for here. Friendship with the ancestors of a noble people, perhaps a special lady, I'm just not sure. I ride a metal horse, I feel such a sense of freedom when I'm on my Harley. I enjoy the freedom of the open road. I live in Louisiana, a mysterious and nature filled land, very special to my. But I cannot fight the wonder ---- any longer,I will be making a permeant move to the desert of New Mexico, very soon. The West has called to me all of my memeorable life.
I thought it would be difficult to write down my feelings,feelings flowed. I suppose, if their is passion your heart for something, it comes out without even realizing how simple it is.
Just a few words more that likely became to long for most people to take the time to read and hopefully feel a connection with my thoughts. But I feel the ones that I am looking for will find me on my quest, looking forward to whomever is out their.
