Seeking marriage and family life. Trying to figure out if I am 3/16 Cherokee, or maybe its 5/16 or maybe it is a mixture of 1/8 of that and the rest is from other parts of North Carolina. May have to go the DNA testing route to find out. And then there is the 1/8 Jewish part, that may or may not exist.

On the other hand - there is another piece of me that actually makes me a minority in the range something like one in a million, I'll let you guess on that one, but to put it nicely, I dont have to worry too much about having a particular percentage of generic Indian blood in order for my children to get educational benefits. That is - if I ever have any!

Maybe the perfect mate for me would be a nice native woman who knows what all of this really means, and who wants to have a large family - yet she might be wondering what to do if she herself is only 7/32 of some tribe or another, and how that all adds up.

There I said it -- or in other words "oh why not?"
