Take a Chance on Me. I may have "white" skin....trust me, it browns naturally.All I have to do is be in the Grandmothers light and she darkens my already brown skin. I do have a strong Indian Spirit within me. I may not know what it is like to live on the Rez or what it feels to be an NDN...but I have been learning what I can about the culture, the way of life, arts and craft, food, etc. All I ask is for a chance.
I was born and raised in the South. I enjoy Southern living. Granted, I have never lived North of the Mason/Dixon line, but I also do not intend to either. I enjoy the Southern weather where we have summer for at least 9 months of the year.
I enjoy visiting Mother Nature, either hiking in the woods or walking the beach.
I enjoy Country life and taking things nice, slow and easy. Being able to stop and smell the flowers, paying attention to what Mother Nature is telling us.I have lived the city life, it has gotten to be too congested, too fast, too busy....WAY TOO MUCH CONCRET.
I don't mind eating healthy, as long as I can have my McDonald's once in a while or my KFC.
I enjoy opening up an atlas, closing my eyes, putting my finger on a spot and then jumping in a car and taking off.
I enjoy working in a garden, feeding wild animals and being one with Mother Nature.
I am trying my best to live a Green Life, it has been difficult to do living the city.
I do not smoke, I do not do drugs and if I do drink....at all....it is usually socially, mostly holidays...Christmas and New Years.
