I am a 46 year old proud mother of two beautiful daughters named Katherine 26, and Kayla 25, a son-in-law named Kevin 25, and perhaps a soon to be son-in-law. And heaven forbid I forget my "granddog", Otis Tubby Pug...he loves his "Gammy" very much...just ask anyone! I am half Comanche Indian and am very proud of this and am always looking for new information regarding my heritage as well as other heritages and beliefs...I worked as a trauma nurse for many years and enjoyed the work and the people I worked with. I felt called to this occupation b/c of the people...I always wanted to make a difference and this was a way for me to work towards that goal. However, growing up, I always thought I would be a veternarian...because I LOVE animals. (Any kind of animal...no preference...I am one of those people who pick up strays and stragglers on the side of the road.) I have always felt happiest when living in the country away from the city. A dream of mine has always been to own a ranch of my own (preferably in Montana or Wyoming but I do love Texas) and work it and watch it blossom....AND YES I KNOW IT SNOWS (HA, HA!)....thats part of the beauty in that country. I love photography and have taken lots of pics of every state and Canada that I have seen. People often describe me as easy-going and witty with a capital "W"....as the saying goes: I don't know a stranger and will talk to just about anybody!!! (A mother's worst nightmare...Ha!) I have overcome many obstacles in my life and many of these have shaped me into the woman I am today: sincere, caring, adventurous, humorous, loving, and tough....I turn my eyes toward the future and will be looking for brighter horizons.
