Nature girl seeks nature boy I am easy going, love animals and have a nurturing spirit. Children of all ages like me but very few adults "get me". I have a knack with animals. I rescue horses and rehabilitate them. I also train my dogs to do tricks just because it amuses me.

I think the most important thing in life is a good sense of humour. I am a bit shy but I tend to solve that with laughter and cracking jokes.

I've lived all over the world. My mum is from Norway and I was born in the U.K. My dad is American of Native (Cherokee/Shoshone) and English ancestry.

I'm looking for my soulmate in life but that is sort of up to chance, so in the meantime I'd love to meet some new friends who are passionate about their native heritage and care about this earth and the creatures in it.

I vacillate between being a homebody who spends my time reading, writing my book, gardening and working with my horses...to being a bit of a tom boy and being active in sport. I play ice hockey and I fence. I am also a firefighter/paramedic.

I'm a bit geeky and love scifi so fellow geeks, nerdfighters, trekkies, and especially Doctor Who fans, are most welcome to write!!! All I ask is for a moderate amount of social grace and relatively passable grammar.

I'm also a bit of a tree hugger (people say that like it's a bad thing??) and believe in minimizing my footprint on the earth, our mother. I believe in the principles of "nature wins" so if we don't take care of the planet it will eventually take care of us, if you know what I mean. I'm big into recycling, minimizing consumerism, sustainable lifestyles, eco-building, etc so if you are passionate about any of these you'll be my new best friend forever!!!

I love theatre and did a fair bit of acting in my youth. I also love music and singing and dancing, especially native dance, drum circles...I also love my celtic/nordic heritage and traditional music. I have eclectic tastes in music and will give just about anything a go.
