Midwestern Mexica Sista Cualli Tonalli! I am a North American-born woman of Mexican, Apache/Yaqui, Comanche, Irish and Italian descent who lives between the south side of Chicago and New Zealand. To make a long story short, I am home on Turtle Island for the rest of the year to work & catch up with friends and family and go to all the powwows I can!!

likes - travel (been to 47 US states, Mexico, NZ, Australia, and Italy, Aztlan and all things Mexica, indigenous people's issues, women's issues, Celtic folklore, health, civil rights issues, powwows, dancing, swimming, working out, skiing (water and snow), wakeboarding, kayaking, charity walks and bike rides, hiking, bike riding, music, reading, islands, beaches, sports (namely gridiron football, baseball, and recently rugby), beer, mojitos, live bands, old skool video games, and creating beautiful native North American style jewelry. I also must say I can cook pretty damn good when someone holds a gun to my head!

my dislikes.......colonialism, imperialism, racism, sexism, homophobia, narcissism, judgmental people, elitists, phony & fake people, shady fraudsters, people who sweat the small stuff, onions, bad breath, hairy backs, the word HISPANIC, when "Latinos" deny being Native, job applications that don't let you say u are mixed race, the fact that my beautiful rottweiler died in May 2011, and mushy flavorless fries. I am seeing someone casually so I'm not looking for a serious partner, just looking to make new friends on here and network...let our Creator take it from there ;-0
