There Reasons for Everything and your Dreams... Hello, I am single and I am part Indian and this I've just recently discovered.But somehow inside I've known this, well I dont think I knew it but growing up as a child I always wished I was Indian. I have always loved the Indian people long before knowing I had Chippewa blood. My heart has always ached for the Indian people and now I know why! I know so many Indian people have been hurt by the white man and many feel hate toward them and if you are one too, I would ask that you forgive them, but not for them no,for you and your's! History has played out the way it has and we can not change the past yet through the language we know now we can change our opinions that our children might grow up without hatred in their hearts and minds.I am not making a case for the white man, no I am pleading for our children's physical and mental health. If they feel as though the world is already against them from birth, then they have a ready made excuse for stumbling, and instead of being strong in spirit they may feel pity on themselves and look for an escape, we all know what that can lead too. It's hard! Indians are a proud people or they should be and many words must be spoken to remove the scars branded on our minds from yesterday...But as the great wind carries our children across the sky they should feel the peace of the big bird flying above the hard ground...
