Just Me First, I definitely have a bit of a twisted sense of humor. Sometimes people can't relate, and it can be off-putting. I can't help it - it seems that the little ironies of life are what amuse me most. I can watch a Mel Brooks film and not crack a smile, but a Canadian goose in the middle of the road, holding up traffic and making people have tantrums in their cars, will have me in hysterics - even if I'm going to be late because of it. Love to write (hmmm?), read, do crafts, walk in the woods, play in the woods, sit in my backyard when the moon is full. I'm a full-time Cat Lady with a full-time job in the healthcare field. No, I am not a nurse - no patient contact - can't handle it emotionally. When I first started at the hospital 14 years ago I was in release of information. I couldn't even get people their loved ones' records without getting emotionally involved. Better to stick to the office stuff....What else? Hmmm...love to trawl through flea markets and antique stores...other people's old junk makes me happy. I am a book hoarder. Like classic rock, country, celtic, American Indian flute. Animal rights activist with a militant bent...Always champion for the underdog...have recently adopted a U.S. soldier in Iraq...unbelievable the things our kids are doing without over there...last but not least - I hate this part! - I am: honest to a fault, believe communication is the key to nurturing any relationship, value love and loyalty above all - even above books LOL - spiritual but not religious, and looking for the same. If you want to talk until the wee hours about the workings of the universe, I am here. If you want to laugh till the tears roll down your face, I am here. If you want someone to do your laundry and clean your toilet....keep moving, pal.
