friends, conversations, relationship, I was born and raised on the northern plains and have lived in NM for 8 yrs. My father's mother grew up on Rosebud and was Lakota. My mom's family is Irish/Swiss. I am a spiritual person who gives thanks every morning and night. I spend summers in SD and go to Sundance. I like to laugh, have fun, take long walks in the mts or by the river. I love all animals but am partial to horses and dogs. Music is a big part of my life; I play guitar and sing. I work with Native students and like my job teaching. What else? Although I have many friends up north, I would like to meet people in NM and Im always interested in learning about new things, making friends. I have 2 daughters who are grown and doing very well. No drama there. If you like to sit by the fire, eat great food, talk, play music, or walk in the rain, Im up for these things too. Maybe Ill think of more to say later.
