I'm supposed to write something here about why I've joined this site. Hmmm, let me think. Perhaps it's because, although I can be alone, that doesn't necessarily mean that I enjoy it all of the time. I dare to dream, even if it seems sometimes that my dreams may never come true. One of my favorite quotes says it all, "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best thing. And no good thing ever dies." Perhaps the same could be said of love, honesty, kindness, compassion, trust and respect. And while I may not find my happily ever after, the people I meet, and the friends I make along the way are more than worth the journey. Of course, being a total hopeless romantic, I will always hope that the man of my dreams is out there, maybe somewhere in the dark, waiting for me. Maybe there IS a magic kingdom where he will take me to where every fantasy you can imagine lives. And maybe, just maybe, true love is more than just a fairytale. Who knows? Right now, in this moment, all I want to do is live, love and enjoy life. And whether it be playing in the clouds, walking on the sun, or lying on the sand, I look forward to the opportunites that each and every day presents as a chance to have a new adventure, no matter how big, or how small.
