Seeking knowledge and friendship.... My name is Mandee, Im looking to aquire some knowledge of native american culture (first hand would be great). I write sometimes and I am doing some research for my writing. there is so much information out there. I've read a few books and researched on the internet but, it would be nice to speak to someone close to my generation. I would like to see the modern view of Native american culture and life, through their eyes' and possibly ask questions. I thought I may attain this through a social network. I live in NY on Long Island. There are two reservations on long Island, Shinnecock and Poospatuck which is smaller. I still have alot to learn about the people who live there and thier culture. And about many other Native Americans...
