In our family we give nicknames to each other.
It took me a year of hard genealogy searching to figure out what "Uncle Hunchie"s real name was.

Lets give ourselves a giggle and share our nicknames.

I will go first.

My nickname "Tiny Mite"
Because I was small for my age and got into fights often.
Name really stuck when I beat up 2 boys at the same time for picking on me.

`My first one, given to me by my mother and my grand-parents, was Poussi, coming from "poussin" (Chick). Definitely I'm under chicken influence ha ! ha !
I will not tell you which was the second. I would like to keep a part of my reputation.

Hugger you're right I'm unable to pronounce your Name. I already have few difficulties to read it correctly I met the same problem with another friend coming from North Africa. I trained for my prononciation with application but when I have been ready, this stupid girl choose to marry a French ha ! ha !
