Life is so amazing... I was walking along the river in a silent conversation with the right and left hand'd Twins. My left eye focus'd behind me, my right eye staring well beyond me and the third eye looking over me. The rushing waters in my ears, the pushing winds against my lips and the timeless medicine of the Cedar in my nose. That is when I got It.
I have always known It, but acceptance is something entirely separate.

On the high limestone trail there are these twenty, thirty, sixty maybe seventy year trees that grow straight up into the light, straight and narrow. Then there are the Cedar that got caught in the shadows of the forest canopy and these trees grow in the most magnificient way, they fight so hard for light they don't grow very tall, they twist with limbs that look like unicorn horns, they are characters of some ancient language, distinct and unique, and some even grow down the cliffs off the sides of the stone, then over and up again, what a journey! Just to get to the light!

I get it, silly as time has made me slow. We and the tree serve different purposes according to how we grow. Some of Us for industrial progress and some of Us for healing, some of us will make rope and shingle board and some of us will make "art" and laughter.
Success comes not trying to be something, success is any path that will get Us into the Creators light. Make us feel all warm and fuzzy... all this Life just avoiding the shadows, chasing the Light!
That is success to me.
