I'm new to this site. Honestly, I'm not really here for dating. I'm not at that point in my life right now. I'm here to meet people, and try to make some "connections". I don't know much about my people on either side...sucks for me I know. My family is from Georgia, I grew up in Connecticut with my grandmother and great-grandmother. My grandmother and great grandmother were full-blooded Cherokee. My mom is part African-American. I don't know anything at all about my father's side of the family.
I'm a very spiritual person, I always have been. I've never expected anyone to believe as I do, and although I respect everyone's beliefs, I would love connect and make friends with people I may share a common heritage with. Hopefully there are people out there willing to connect with me. :)

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for the replies. Looking through some of the previous posts, I see a few Georgians...which I can't even claim to be. When my family "goes back home" every year, I'm the odd person out, since I was born and raised in Connecticut. My family is from Cuthbert, GA...the boonies. My earliest memory is of being chased by an angry rooster, and feeding the pigs...lol Thanks for making me feel welcome.
