|
|
After leaving my cell phone in a vehicle going out of state last night..and being stuck at work alone afterward with no distractions I decided to go sit outside and just be 'peaceful'. That didnt last long..there was a beautiful thunderstorm coming in..a distance away but thunder, lightening thru the clouds and a wind kicking up I knew I wouldnt be outside for long. But as I was on the hill outside the hospital watching I was struck how beautiful this was and I said 'well aren't you just something.' Then I had a memory of in 1990..something I seen that I haven't thought about in years. Wont say what it was here..But I will say I am worried. I will use my job as example cause it is the only thing I know well...in cases of shock the body goes through 3 phases..the first is pretty mild and can be that way awhile, a person can maintain a bit initially but if it is not treated the second phase begins-in that the body cant compensate any longer and begins to quickly shunt blood to the vital organs rapidly, but this is a very quick phase and goes quickly into irreversible shock..by then so much has been damaged and as one system is shutting down the others are following and it is irreversible. A person will still be alive, maybe even talking and such..but is beyond what can be done to ultimately save them. I feel that it is this way now for the world as we know it. If there were a radical change of 'consciousness' (and not in the new-agey way I mean)..then maybe..but the massive drug problem and its resulting rampant violence..not to mention GREED has made that all but impossible for a collective connect. I see such despair in people in the town I work in..but what do most there think about?? Who's doing what with who..who drives what...how good am I dressed and I bank here and there and have this and that. whatever... So much money is going out now in government.. where is it going to come from to pay it back? I will tell you if you are sitting on land with resourses that can be consumed..be prepared to say good-bye. Really. As far as the environment..too late, that was a goner when the natural protectors of the land were smashed, once that happened then the door was open for all this absolute ravage. But not to worry..this earth is a massive entity-'she' will go on, even if a minute has to be set aside to annihilate the identified species causing the problem.
I moved my kids here..thought they would be safe. They are, but it is only a matter of time that what we left becomes our reality here too..I only bought us time.
I am worried..and sad in a way. But I do think these are days that may be as good as it's gonna get-so I will laugh and enjoy them. Sorry for the downer here... mabe there will be a reprieve??? enough people will come out from where they are hiding in the more remote areas of this planet and will say, 'okay now ENOUGH!!!' and join those in the cities as well who have had enough but feel small in comparison to the problems?
That we are all good now with this current administration is a MIRAGE. Hope has never spoke louder than debt that I have seen in the world as it is. Sorry!!! Love to you guys!REALLY!

`Hmm...you're not exactly being extremely specific in a way...and yet there is merit to what you are saying...things are bad...and will mayhaps get a LOT worse...before they get better...IF they get better...but there are specific reasons for these events, as there has been for our entire history. It's just a matter of whether we are actually able to SEE what is really going on...most people shun away from looking at the real reasons...even before they get close to it. Because it gets to be a bit too uncomfortable...and sometimes too close to home.
Just look at many of the conflicts of our modern times...they haven't ended. And we have several new ones...on top of all that, the environment is losing. On account of us and our modern way of life. For instance, when the US, a country that represents a small part of the world, uses up a severely disproportionate amount of the world's resources...with other industrial nations close behind in their (ab)use of resources and the environment...leaving the poor to pick from the scraps...
Yeah, the reasons are all there...and until the people who really have the power, decide to use it for good and not abuse it for self-gain...then maybe...just maybe we will see some fruitful changes. Then again, we can all try to rise up...to change matters for the better...that is if we realise our own power...and can cease to feel so helpless...which feels impossible at times...although, haven't we been made to feel that way? There seems to be a collective incapacitated thinking and lack of action...left for the radicals and left wing activists most of the time...
And oh, survival in the blood...well, if survival was all that was necessary...there's plenty of survivors who have lost the most important thing...the ability to discern between right and wrong. That is part and parcel of what has happened with some of your surviving associations...they survived..and lost their humanity...hatred took over...hatred for those that caused them harm...and then that hatred and anger is directed at other innocents...the circle of evil continues...and in that way, even the vanquished evils continue to thrive...and win.
When that circle breaks...a new one, a positive one...can finally replace it. This is necessary for change...or so I believe...

`Part of svrvival, to me, IS NOT letting what happened in the past become the dictator of what I will become in my life (when people get to know others they get a better clve as to who they are as an individval, and the spirit behind what one is trying to say).... otherwise one has only existence. And I do agree..my ancestors have been ravaged by hate over what has happened to them in the past, and is now tvrning to a poison for themselves and others..and that wovld be more than one of the "peoples" whose blood is in my veins, by the way. I appreciate what is being said here tho.

`Obamanomics: How Stupid Do They Think We Are? [Andy McCarthy]
Pretty stupid.
Watching Fox News Sunday, I caught a panel on which Obama economic advisor Austin Goolsbee conceded that the administration had previously predicted unemployment would top out at around 8%, that it was now up to 9.4%, and that double-digit unemployment was a distinct possibility in the near future. Goolsbee didn't resort to the administrations's blather about "saving or creating jobs," but he did repeat its fustian about how last month's loss of 345,000 jobs (resulting in a half percentage point jump in the jobless rate) is somehow good news because it beat predictions (I don't recall him saying whose) of even more dire loss numbers. It made me wonder why, if those predictions either existed or were serious, the Obama administration would have previously predicted that unemployment would top out at 8%?
Goolsbee then laughably intimated that the steep jump in the jobless rate could be attributable to hopeful signs that the economy is improving. Huh? See if you can follow this: He says flashes of hope that we are on the verge of a revival have purportedly caused previously uncounted jobless people to seek (but not find) work  that is, they waited out prosperous times, deciding to leap into the job hunt only when hundreds of thousands of heretofore gainfully employed people got pink-slipped and began competing for a declining pool of jobs. Of course, why shouldn't Goolsbee think he can get away with these fables when the Obamedia has taken to repeating them verbatim? Witness the headline on page one of yesterday's Wall Street Journal: "Slower Job Losses Lift Hopes"  I'm sure that's exactly the headline Bush would have gotten after a half-point jump in an already sky-rocketing jobless rate.
If that weren't enough to make your head spin, Goolsbee also blamed Obama's handling (i.e., nationalizing) of the auto industry on . . . President Bush. Obama, you see, was saddled with this mess because Bush  over the objections of his own party  decided back in December to raid billions in public money intended for bailing out the financial sector in order to bail out the automakers.
Again, how stupid does he think we are? Bush's move came after then President-elect Obama implored him to take action to stave off the collapse of the auto-industry. This was one of the major topics of their meeting in the White House on November 11, covered here by the Wall Street Journal. Back then, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid were already urging Bush to study whether  regardless of how Democrat sponsored auto bail-out legislation fared  the president already had the authority to divert financial sector bail-out funds for Detroit. So it was that when Republicans defeated the auto bail-out bill December, Bush, at the urging of Obama and the Democrats, made one of the worst gaffes of his presidency by extending over $17B in government "loans" to GM and Chysler. For the Obama/Democrat line to now be that Bush foisted this mess on the new administration, and that Bush is to blame for Obama's geometric exacerbation of the problem, is breathtaking.
Finally, Goolsbee explained that it was unfair to accuse President Obama of a flip-flop just because he is now amenable to taxing employer-provided health benefits despite arguing during the campaign that it was shameful for Senator McCain to suggest taxing employer-provided health benefits. After all, Goolsbee elaborated, the initiative to tax the benefits is not Obama's idea; it is an idea of top Democrats (with whom the White House closely coordinates) to which Obama is listening because he's just that kinda open-minded guy. Uh-huh.

`The strange thing about your comment is that there's always been a plan by politicians and the ones with real power behind them (companies etc). And these plans are regarding not just the states but the entire world...nothing has occurred by coincidence, but by long, long planning from way back. What's happening today is as connected to the beginning of the past century, a 100 years later the plans are still being worked on. No one can become a president of the US unless supported by the right groups of people. Democracy is but an illusion sustained to appease the people and sell them an idea that is as watered down in practical reality as it became shortly after it was invented in Greece...and as a matter of fact, women had no voting rights in the original idea of demo kritos (Greek).
Anyhow, that's slightly off the current subject. The real thing to realise and wake up to is that it wouldn't REALLY have mattered who got the vote and won in the end...there's not much difference in getting to the same goal by one way or the other, the result will be the same. A good planner doesn't just think of one route to their goal. Cover all bases, no matter who gets the vote, you'll still reach your goal.
And the truth is that it has nothing to do with socialism either, that's again just an idea created and impacted onto people. It was needed to have a counterpoint to another view...people are busy with cheering for their "team" which will be an "-ism" of some sort. Capitalism against socialism, reformism against traditionalism, conservatism against liberalism...and on it goes. Divide and conquer...people busy with squabbling about meaningless things when what everyone in the world wants is peace, justice, safety, love and care...but if everyone had that...then some would not be able to satisfy their greed and hunger for power, money and control...
The population of the entire world needs to wake up to these things. Wars are not coincidence, when both sides are often supported by the same people (how did Hitler get access to fuel for his planes? Try to find out for an absolute eye-opener as to wars). Have you seen the pictures of Rumsfeld being in Iraq? Do you know that Saddam was once considered an ally of the US, having close ties with the CIA and other organisations? Where do you think he got the chemical weapons from in the first place that he used to gas the Kurds with? Many of them were from European countries such as Germany etc. War is big, BIG business and many people are willing to gain from other peoples deaths, they do not hesitate about this. They dont care about the soldiers that are sent into wars to die, from countries they are themselves so called citizens of.
Just think of the madness of people joining armies in the world, to become the violent expressions of other mens wills. Why would you let someone take that control of your own destiny and life? Because were sold an idea of patriotism and nationalism that is made to represent all that we consider to hold as good a dear. No sooner has a politician played the patriotism card that people all over various nations raise their flags and come running to the call, giving the politicians (and those behind them) carte blanche to do with their lives as they will. Albert Einstein said that nationalism is an infantile disease. Its only one of many...prejudice, racism, hatreds, supremacy of one race over another when we are in fact all more or less one race. We are all one!
