Off and on until I was 16 would be sent to live with my Grandparents. It was my grandfather who would take the responsibility to get me to school and back. An apology goes out into cyberspace, and deep regret that I would have him park around the corner or down the block because I was embarrassed of him. If any people out there have children/grandchildren who do the same just know...they don't know what they are doing..but they will regret not being proud of those who loved them later on. He was a good man.
(this post came about this morning cause I woke up and had an instant memory of one day that he was waiting outside the school and a boy from class said "is THAT your grandpa?" and I said "oh, no..thats our neighbor." and what a shameful memory to me that is.)
