If there's anything humans love more than getting what we. it's getting it want faster.
One way is to work harder..
So naturally, we look for other ways.
This does not necessarily mean we are lazy, but simply that we feel a need to ration our energy. In our defense, are preference for the elevator over the stairs comes from an instinct going back to our cave dwelling days. Back then, finding enough food, to go on finding enough food was all we thought about.There were no televisions to watch, no internet to cruise, and very little sitting around of any kind. No one worried that their buns were too big or their abs too small. Pedaling on a stationary bike would have made you the clan lunatic. River dance was when a saber tooth tiger chased you into the water.
The saber tooth tiger is long gone, but we are still saving our energy. We avoid needless effort. Our genes have a Jones for a quick fix..
And yeah, some of us are lazy.
That's why there are shortcuts..N.W.A.A.

Sometimes shortcuts are good like the lift instead of the stairs when your arms are full of shopping but other times shortcuts say in dealing with people can be bad and just get you in even more of a mess than you were before...
Hope that made sense...lol
