My emergence is through different colored worlds
All of which lead up to my final emergence
Into this present world
Where the Holy People made the first clans
The sacred dirt was brought from the first world
It was used to form the four sacred mountains
My umbilical cord is buried inside the original homeland
I am bonded with my ancestors existence
My ancestral lands cannot be broken
These are the natural laws that I still honor
To respect my ceremonies
Our burial site is the root of all Dine'
I am the caretaker of this land
In return the land takes care of me
Following the teachings and the natural laws
Will bring harmony and balance
My Hogan is my sacred home
I will sing to the dawn
My Hogan has become the center of my spiritual life
Through my prayers life will continue
My emergence is through different colored worlds
From the north is the breath of Creator's life restored
From the south are the rainbow gifts of color
To the east is the direction of the dawn
It is my thinking direction
To the west this is my life
This is where I will do my living
To walk the right path
To continue the cycle
From east to west my cycle is repeated
In each cycle there is a lesson to be learned
Each dawn is a new life to begin
Every day is a holy day
Early dawn is when I start a new life again
The Creator will answer my prayers in the early morning
I will sing of a beauty and harmony
To the Holy People of the four sacred mountains
To the four different directions
To be taught by the Holy People
To live in harmony with Earth Mother
To have enduring faith in the Great Spirit
To have the four values
Of Life
Of Work
Of human relations
Of respect to grow
To believe and continue to survive as Dine forever
