Bigotry in ND Government (Again)

There's a story in the news up here of late that the Benson County ND Board is refusing to put a polling place on the Spirit Lake Reservation, even though the Tribal Council offered space & to pay an election staff.
The Board contends they're doing a study to see something about voting patterns, but given that when the nation redistricted in 2001 the Republicans up here tried to break up District 4 which covers essentially all of the Ft. Berthold Rez "so the Indns couldn't get any more Indns in the Legislature" (we otherwise have 1 - from Turtle Mountain), we had to get the ACLU into the act to stop it.
And given that I heard the Lt. Gov. (who is likely to become our new governor) tell someone "we had to get rid of John Dorso & Gary Nelson from House & Senate Majority Leadership because they were starting to listen to the wrong kind of people" & responded to the "who?" question with "Indians!" as if it should be obvious.. I don't believe the Benson County Board's story.
I think that in order to force the issue, one or more people from Spirit Lake Nation would have to file a suit (preferably with the ACLU's help), but it might help if the Benson County ND Board of Commissioners were bombarded with outraged letters & emails..

"What have YOU done TODAY to HELP HEAL the Sacred Hoop, of which you, too, are a part?"
