In the big scheme of things we are as a star twinkles in space. Here for a glimpse and then gone. Those we love can be taken in a second..none of us has a corner on time.
I live with this. A lot of people face thier mortality and that of thier loved ones at some point one way or another. Isn't every day a gift?? Sometimes it is good not to dwell on mortality but to BREATHE in today.
I am on borrowed time..we all are.
One significant beautiful little star I think of from time to time now and I think of this...
'...of what use was it to be loved and lose ones beauty if it all ended like this? And a tear, a real tear, trickled down his little shabby nose and fell to the ground.....And then a strange thing happened. For where the tear had fallen a flower grew out of the ground....."

From a childrens story that we all could learn from if we can hear still? and all LIFE no matter how brief is such a gift.
