SO I DROVE THE 1-40 LIKE 10 TIMES FROM SAN JOSE TO NEW MEXICO AND EVERYTIME I SEE THESE SIGNS WATCH FOR ELK AND NEVER IN ALL MY TRIPS HAVE I EVER SEEN AN ELK. SO FINALLY ON ONE TRIP I STOPPED BY THE TRADING POST ON THE WAY INTO NEW MEXICO AND ASKED AN ELDER THERE, "HEY WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE ELK IN NEW MEXICO?" HE SAID, "ALL THE IMBREDS THOUGHT THEY WAS BUFFALO!"

I MADE UP THAT JOKE ON THE ROAD AND THOUGHT IT WAS JUS THE FUNNIEST THING. COURSE LESS THERE'S ANY OTHER NATIVES IN THE ROOM OM THE ONLY ONE LAUGHIN.. LMAO!!
