Anger can direct our focus,
Allowing true intent to find

To the souls who were led astray
Replacing their reasons for being.
Sending their apathy away
Anger teaches many lessons,
With viewpoints, never the same,
We can learn to change our attitudes,
Or continue to shame and blame....

`Huggerogtrees, what can I say about anger that wasn't said. We have all been accused of being angry or accused eachother of being angry. What you said here is so true of what it can do for people..how it can serve us instead of us being it's servants. But what do we do with it in the midst of anger? The two examples I have heard of written from two extremes is the words of Jesus which states to "turn the other cheek"..the other from Aleister Crowley which he has to say if your cheek is smacked to turn and smash the head of the one who did it so they will stop smacking your cheek. Personally, I don't believe either one is right. But when one straddles the fence and takes no side trying to please all is in a way a betrayal as well. There was a belief some years ago I heard that if someone is angry over what is said about them then it must be true or they would not be angry. Ridiculous. The most I have been angry is when I have been wrongly accused..there is no underlying guilt to act as a buffer to the anger in that case. I have seen you wrongly accused before...I have wrongly accused others before and naturally there was anger. So what does one do between the original injury and the lesson learned? All I can think to do is I go where there is love. Where ever one finds that..friends, children, in what is real..with the ones who know and love us best. They know who we are and love us, sometimes inspite of it..but they see what is real in us see our value as a person. Where when you call in the middle of the night you know there is someone on the other side who cares. Those who turn our anger into laughter. People who make us see what is good and real about ourselves and can transform our anger into what makes us better human beings.

** I, personally, will always remember you listening to my late night long rant from my job..patiently, and within the hour we were laughing our a**es off. THAT is who you are.

When I get angry I become silent because I feel a storm brewing. Now I always mean what I say so it is best for me to be silent.
I know some feel I am mean spirited, but you just don't know the real me, but let me say if you are my friend then I've got your back.
That's the way I was raised to never give up the fight even as they drag me off to camp I'll be fighting the fight.But I pick my battles carefully and some are just not worth my time...

no fight in here..in my thinking anyway. But about the politicians they dont understand words because you are not speaking in thier own language. Unfortunately most do not speak thier language and that is money..but G-d help you if that is found to reside under your own back yard.
