The invention of the internet is cool partly because it opened up new social arena, one of the few that is tailor made(tailor made ha ha!) for introverts.The net gets knocked for isolating people from each other, but actual users know that's bunk.
Sure there are a few sad addicts who cruise the net night and day, never going anywhere "real" and then complains because they are alone on the 4th. of July!!!How can anyone be alone on the 4th. of July?? But finally someone gets worried, the landlady lets the police in only to find the addicts feet sticking out of the monitor!! But most of us cruise in addition to our normal lives..

Lets talk photo's!!

Glamour shots are okay I guess if you need a pound and half of makeup on your face to look presentable, but come on people if you are planning to meet someone on the net .

ONE TIP
If you really look like Rosanne (no offense Rosanne) putting up Angelina Jolie picture, or looking like Ernest (goes to camp) putting Brad Pitts picture up and saying you look better then them is not going to get you anywhere.

`hahaha, I rarely wear makeup and if I do, it's only eyeliner. My mother never let me wear it in high school and so I suppose I carried that with me into my adult life. I think it's better sometimes. But who's posting pics of Brad and Angelina as their pictures?
I am weary of the people on this site with one single picture of someone relatively attractive. Makes me think they're lying. Especially when the picture looks as if it was taken by a professional photographer.
Hope my pictures portray me, but I had to go through a million of 'em to find ones that I thought looked like they really portrayed me and even still, ones I actually liked (that is effing hard).
How's chewy? (sp?)

No one put pictures up of Brad and Angelina , but some people put up pictures that are 20 yrs old,trying to be what they once were or go for glam shots. to look good.I was always told beauty last for a little while, but brains are forever.Can you imagine going to meet someone and having a picture that's 20 yrs. old and you stand there in shock wondering how do I get out of this one???!!

And then I'd walk away. I have never been a girl for looks and if their personality was good enough, maybe we could work things out, but our meeting was on the premise of a lie. How could I trust that person?

Hey, I LOVED your your youtube rant, Ashe!!!!!!!!!! I can relate! When I had Earthlink I spent more than one middle of the night rant with some guy in India about my on-line connection...so happy those days are over!
