: Aesop Fable:
A Wolf, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea, which should justify to the Lamb himself his right to eat him.
He then addressed him:
'Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.'
'Indeed,' bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, 'I was not then born.' Then said the Wolf: 'You feed in my pasture.'
'No, good sir,' replied the Lamb, 'I have not yet tasted grass.'
Again said the Wolf: 'You drink of my well.' '
No,' exclaimed the Lamb, 'I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother's milk is both food and drink to me.'
On which the Wolf seized him, and ate him up, saying:'Well! I won't remain supper less, even though you refute every one of my imputations.
'The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny, and it is useless for the innocent to try by reasoning to get justice, when the oppressor intends to be unjust...

`Yes, that's true! It reminds me something from the history of Native Americans! Similar!

Outch Kasy you're one more time taking big risks in making reference to feables... I remember some fights I had to make here for having translated human's attitudes with animals comportments
Out of these bull*ts I didn't know Esope wrotte this because our "fabuliste" Jean de la Fontaine made a version all Frenchs think being his creation.
"Le loup et l'agneau"
Different style but same result.... Yes tyrans will always find a reason to abuse...
No matter if you're in your rights if you don't possess the tools to give obligation to the others to respect you rights !
Definitly, knowing since how many times these feables have been written, it's pretty discouraging

`I remember that fight!! That was a riot, but as you can see that nitwit is long gone and we are still here. I always like Aesop's fables, but I love to read ever since I learned how, that is what got me through the hell of abusive childhood could just go live in a book and nothing would bother me..
