I don't know where to start with this... there have been a couple of notable account deletions recently (unfortunately one had been myself) and 2 account deletions I was stunned about in my first week that I was sick about. And today, after this other one, NOW I am worried about a second one today that may delete out of frustration with their place on the site so-to-speak. ALL of us had the same thing in common..personal trouble with people (even being myself) with others on the site. Now it's our own personal business what we do with regard to our account for sure. It's sure not mine. But I do feel we all have a voice. Personally, if I don't like someones voice I just don't read what they have to say. Dosen't mean it's not speaking for someone else something good ..even if I don't get it. And I don't know at all what some peoples motivations are for being here. Maybe they're trying to connect with something they feel was missing from their life, maybe they admire something about this culture and want to connect, and maybe for some it is Harlequin..I DON'T KNOW..I'm not in thier head..some have a very strong voice for the people they love and are connected to. I thought about going on Paranormal Passions but I'm not a ghost. I just hope someone will see their place here and you never know who's watching and appreciating. You may never know...dosen't make it not important.

`I have no idea what this means.. or whether to trust it or not because it seems to be written out of frustration.

Does this mean.... that ... you got deleted off of here by someone else?

Sounds like someone is watching out for the community as a whole.

You can be blunt and direct without being directly offensive. Of course there are people who are offended by tone, truths, or even get offended by ANYTHING someone says because they just don't like them. Being a blunt woman, I unintentionally insult those who have their own insecurities.

Remember, only bilagaana hates truth. *wink*

Just a quick note about account deletions...since it was brought up in this thread.

We watch the site for violations in the TOS (Terms of Service), and we ask members to notify us of violations in the TOS.

When we see someone break the rules, we delete their account.

90% of the time, accounts are deleted within the first few days of creation because they are fake or because the person who created the account was behaving inappropriately.

We're not sure which accounts plainsgirl01 was referring too...and we're not going to comment on her decision to delete her first account, only to create a new one and delete it again about a week later.

We try to steer clear of commenting about specific members or about a specific member's behavior.

We will say that we have not deleted any members of Native American Passions in the recent past due to a violation of the TOS (...with the possible exception of new accounts by members who broke the rules).

Thanks,

`Mister Feedback,

All I want to know is... are these people warned with an email and are they also emailed AFTER the fact explaining why they were deleted?

If someone was warned and they keep doing what they do... then by all means. Wipe the forum clear *laughs*

Sometimes we'll send a warning email prior to deletion to let someone know that they have crossed a line, but depending on the issue we may just delete them without warning. And we do not send follow-up emails to let them know why they were deleted. (Keep in mind that people are supposed to read the Terms of Service they agree to when joining the network, and the specific rules for posting within the forums.)

As mentioned previously, 90% of the time (and it's probably even higher than 90% of the time), people are deleted within a few days of joining, due to spamming, listing a false location, or behaving inappropriately.

It is very, very rare that we delete a member who has been on the network for any length of time and/or who has been posting regularly in the forums...and usually when that happens we would contact the member to discuss the issue.

If we see that someone has been a member for some time, and they have broken a rule in some way by posting something inappropriate within the forum, we would likely just delete the offending post...and not the member.

The trouble makers are the ones that get deleted, and deleted quickly.

Thanks,

PS. And there is no need to be so formal humoredOne. You can just call me feedback.
