I will stand and resist
For my elderly ones
Who are being forced to relocate
Together we will never do the longest walk again
We are still here
I will fight to keep these sacred lands alive
Hear the Holy Ones singing
With the eagle feather in my hand
I will be forever bound to this sacred place
Hear the voices calling me
My journey has ended here in Dine taa
Our ancient have said this is our center of life
We are still as one on this sacred ground
Circle within as beauty arrives
Creator voice brings the morning songs
In return our prayers are pure
I will breathe and listen with my heart
Listen as the Holy Ones direct me
No longer will I walk on silent trails
The summoning winds will spread over the sacred mountains
Our sacred spaces will burn with Dine' fire
My spirit dancer comes forth with the burning sunset
My drum battle will sound
I will stand and resist
For my elderly ones
Who are being forced to relocate
Together we will never do the longest walk again
