Well voting is the responsibility of a citizen for his or her country or otherwise we would just live under a monarchy.
Well considering how democracy has screwed us over, I would say **** that ****.

Uh well... as for this election, I would vote democrat. If we get another Bush it would turn the United States apart and such a manifest will hurt our peoples the most.
I'd say what would be better is the recognition of all Native American tribes, federal money spent to promote education in Native schools, and to have representation in House and Senate with one representative for each group of Native Americans (not each tribe) and two Senators for all Native Americans. That way legislation will be passed and boasted to insure better treatment for Native Americans.
In addition, the status of reservations changed to Autonomous Counties, Boroughs, Parishes, Townships, or Towns having representations in all three levels depending on where they stand. Typically, all tribes would have representation under the group they associate under or Tribal Nation if you will. Counties, Boroughs, and Parishes are synonyms and refer to specific states that use such term for sub-regional entities. Towns and townships are usually sub-entity of a county, parish, or borough, so they would have representation in that county or whatever and then within the state that county is in under the Tribal Nation that autonomous town falls under and the country under similar terms but for the entire Tribal Nation within this country.
As being autonomous, we would have self-rule over our own lands and as being an ethnic minority we wouldn't have to pay taxes, except for our own Nation and Union of Nations that would exist in the Senate as two Senators representing all Native Americans in the United States. We would follow our own laws given that they follow international law to insure humanitarian decree and our innocence if we are taken again under oppression.
Given that we encompass less that a percentage of the population, this should be logical and acceptable by the government. And for me being mostly white with some Cherokee, I could pass by, un-noticed and insure these acts take into account. I might have to say nothing of the sort until after my election and just double my security until things settle down.
I do suggest we get rid of casinos and replace such with training programs until some of the most prestigious and well paid fields like Nasa, Government jobs, Physics, computer programming, philosophy, and the arts.

You certainly have some interesing ideahs that I would like to discuss or debate. I believe that native tribes should invest their casino money into other profitable busnesses within the boundries of the reservation. Tourism, agriculture, and industrial jobs come to mind. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ACCEPTING ANYTHING FROM THE GOVERNMENT! WE NEED TO WEEN OURSELVES FROM THE GOVERNMENT. It is the only way we will be out from under it's influence. Ido agree with you on having representation in government to protect our independence from it. The only way we will be able to resurect our traditions and live freely as natives, is to seperate our nations from theirs. With representation and a more powerful economic force, it is possible. This can not be done with help or grants/ loans ect. from the Us government, as we all know every hand-out has an arm attached.
