I would like to share an incident that happened one year when I returned home. I did not understand what happened by years later I realized the true meaning.

A TEAR

As I stood before my father and he called me Shiyaazh(my son)
a single tear ran down his tanned face.
In my youthful arrogance I thought
how embarrasing.

Now my son stands before me
and I call him Shiyaazh
and a single tear runs down my face.

Now I know why my father cried.
