I ask hugger to please refrain from the negative tinge that I sense. I was only building off and trying to explain what I meant. If there is anything I said or expressed difference about in your thinking, I didn't mean to offend you. If I am mistaken in my perception of what I seem to pick up on, than please excuse me.















I have noticed that you sense a lot of negativity within the forum. I do not think hugger was trying to be negative. I think you mistake passion for negativity. It's very hard, too, to pick up on people's inflection over internet forum networking. Really, I think you are just sensitive to people's energy (and that is not meant to be taken badly--I also suffer from such sensitivity). And I do not think you are mistaken. Perceptions usually cannot be taken as wrong. They are unique to you and usually imply strong opinions. People who are passionate about their opinions usually do not budge and have a strong will to share them with others. I do not think that is a bad thing, nor do I think it is negative, unless she was directly insulting you in some way and I did not see any hints of that.

`Thats just people. Differences make some people uncomfortable (more than not)..screw them. I have seen people delete because they were seeing only negativity here (when I had seen more laughter myself--so it perspective I think). And I have seen also..and have had happen, when you are clearly supporting them here they take it as an attack! I DONT understand why this happens.

me personally it isn't dating unless we are physically dating...internet does not count. If I met someone here and we got together then I guess we would have to discuss that. I personally would want to keep what friends I made, give them my email and other blogging site addresses and delete this account. It is a dating site and if I am off the market then I have no business here..not when I have options of keeping in touch with others that does not use a dating site. I would expect no less from him.
I have a policy about trust. I will trust you until you give me a reason not to. i will believe until I have a good reason not to believe you..and with me in particular I will know long before the truth hits light of day.

the reality is this, finding your "significant other" on here is slim. And even if you did find your special someone, why should you have to delete anything for them? I think it shows a lack of trust to ask the other person to delete the account. It's like saying you already don't trust them to be on here. I am 100% confidant in myself and I would expect that of someone else.

`I'm way late to this forum but I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. I met someone on here and he suggested that I delete my account. I said no for several reasons. But the main reason was that I've made friends and I'm not gonna just delete my account for someone. He had major trust issues too. It's a good thing I didn't delete my account, everything ended horribly anyway.
