i was raised by my mom and her parents. they both had Native American blood, but it was never discussed. my brothers father was Native American. my own dad was part Native American. i met him as a gown up. i only leanred of his side of the family a few years ago.
my question is. what if a dream brought you here not the kind of dream like 'when I grow up i wanna be..." a go to sleep and dream, dream. a series of dreams. all the same people,always the same stories. They began when I was about 25 yrs old.
a college proffesor of mine told me they were more of a choise between 2 seperate ways of life.i didnt totally believe that,not when the dreams evolved,they changed slightly, new people arrived. I tried to just be me and live my life but always the dreams persisted,including waking events. I didnt know where to turn for advise or what to do. I dont think there is enough room right here to tell the dreams. but i would like help with them still. I was always diffferent,a little black sheep because I rode horses and every animal that i encountered tried to follow me home, i thought that was why when i was little, not so much now. its more than that. If your part this and part that, does any culture really accept you?

Thank you for your comment, as I said, it is very humbling, especially considering that I'm the one who wakes up to see my own face every day...and it can be shocking - but good for waking me up /smiles. Thanks a million for that john...I appreciate the clue /smiles. By the way, I am here to make friends, male and female, as I am interested in all things native for various reasons...I'm still only a student of the history and culture, wide as it is, but I would dearly like to make friends with more real people...to learn and exchange thoughts. Hello everyone i am a Mut mixture of several so called races of people im proud to be a irish cherokee dutch mut, but what kinda sux is not really belonging to any group other than the clan u are born too which aint so bad cause they are all muts too. It is however very hard to learn anything about my cherokee heritage other than books and trying to find true authors and not people posing to be something they are not is a different story. i do know this the one dog u want to fight for u that is the meanest and most loyal is a mut.. so wuff wuff and lol - i hope to find friends here and maybe get to know more about my heritage on the cherokee side. i know my irish relatives came here as prisoners of the crown and the dutch were running for there lives they both liked whiskey and made a plenty of it... lol thats my rant for what its worth ..maybe a chuckle and hope i can make some friends
