A friend of mine in california told me this morning that the state wants to give people IOU's for their state tax returns because cali is flat bankrupt. Obama isn't joking..it isn't a fear thing or manipulation..he's telling you the truth. Take some time..look up some statistics and see for yourself. Just last month the layoffs were at 100,000..yes we are in crisis..and it is bad. I cannot fathom why people won't do their homework and lash out at those of us who do.

I never said you guys weren't held down..but it seems that the big difference is that there aren't enough of you on the forefront making noise.What kills me is I have written the white house about some of the issues on a couple of the rez's..and here you are not even willing to consider it..and I am not even native..wtf? I tell people all the time about it.. have donated as much cash as I can to aid those in the blizzard areas and that donation was specifically for an electric share to aid the people on those rez's in payijng their power bills..so in short yeah..I AM HERE DOING YOUR JOB! if your assessment of change was actually true then the folks that have the freedoms and privilages they have, myself included, would not have them. First of all the unemployment rate is high, guess why? Could it be from our lack of jobs?? Could it be that all our companies are leaving the country, because we have the second highest corporate tax rate in the world???Could it be that when we preach doom and gloom every single day from so called "Leader" that people are afraid to go out and spend money. It's a domino affect, if we don't spend we don't produce, if we don't produce, we have no jobs.
Maybe if California was not so liberal and handing out money to all the illegals they could possibly pay something!!!

As this economy gets worse, i am afraid that crime will go up, because of people getting desperate to survive, a lot of Federal Government Grants will be cut in half or ended, and Organizations like The Low Income Housing Grants, Funds for Domestic Violence and Abuse Shelters, and so on, will be affected. In the mean time what will happen to our School funds, and now the US Postal Service is talking about delivering the Mail on less days then 6 days a week, and raing the price on postage stamps 2 cents more. The price of food has went up, and even though gas prices are down they still remain high..... This economy is down hill fast, and do you think this stimulous bill is going to help? I hate to think what my daughter's life is going to be like in a few years when she turns 18.
