I understand what you are talking about in referring to "throw aways", and the animal people wont always come and get them because they are so overcrowded right now..so what do you do?? My neighbors and I aren't actively fighting, just more like a quiet seeth right now. And Cello, they DO have kids..just had another baby in fact! I cant, and WONT even go there...maybe I can be alittle more compassionate however. After all, I ran around with a pack of "strays" myself back in the day!

`here is my town they don't pick of cats so I guess the poor critters are on their own.
I can only feed just so many of them.. I don't fight with my neighbor I just let him know his yard is an eye sore. He's a renter so he won't be here long in fact I have lived here since 2001 and the place was empty for two years and since then I have seen 6 families come and go.. My favorite ones were the crack heads NOT!!!!

Well I was sleeping (I'm ahead in time.. in tomorrow.. remember), then I had some living to to, when I get back to work I'll only get to check in when you're all asleep!!!
OK so you know I'm a Pollyanna and my glass is usually half full...so sorry to break up the party BUT maybe you should start a compost heap with all that good manure those nice pups and kits are giving you for free! And you know there are probably some very happy little grubs and insects that are soo glad that those birds (that were going to eat them for lunch) got scared away by that cat ... and the neighbour's long grass... well it's a lot nicer than living in a drought stricken place where everything is dead......Even though it doesn't seem that way often, I think most people are doing the best they can at the time, with who they are, and where they're at. People get themselves in ruts, I know I do, we forget we are free to move and change direction. We can't do it for others, but we can for ourselves. I've tried both ways and found that looking at a problem just seems to make it bigger ... looking for a solution, is the only way that brings some relief and peaceful outcome. Sometimes the solution is just letting something go...just how important is it really in the big picture? and looking to all the things we like looking at, to appreciate, that are there as well. Moving on to something we like to do that we do have control over.
It's a daily challenge, and I'm actually writing this for myself as a reminder.

Hey Hugger buddy ... course I know you two are just havin a laugh and it's good to see. You know every now and then I just gotta go bla bla bla about something. ..You sure you don't want to give that cat poop compost a try? Heard it's very good for flower beds, Chumani's sure gonna want to try the dog poop version, it's supposed to be very good for yellow roses! What's so good about cow manure anyway?

`Where I live..no specific location or name cause I would be too easy to find and that is a real "no..no"" considering some of the emails I have recieved,,BUT I will say there are cornfields that run 30 miles to the east of me, 20 miles to the west, 27 miles to the south and 50 miles to the north. And this town is an exact square in the middle of that!!!WILD TIMES, ya know???

`Right on!! We could go "cow tipping!"...the real fun thing is to hit one of the three bars in town, not to drink..just make them sweat (my family has had a bad reputation here for the drunken antics toward themselves, and others...may as well have fun with it!!)
