Introductions/extending a had of friendship

I"M NOT UPSET!!!!!!!(just kidding Girl)..frustrated though. You know I just wish people would understand sometimes here (and this isn't directed at you-its just what I keep hearing over and over) that this is attempting to get to know people through a computer. A good deal of what we use to convey ourselves to others is not available on computers...so someone writes something-it comes out slightly skewed or someone takes it a way they wouldn't otherwise wouldn't if they had the ability to SEE HOW we are communicating it. And instead of ASKING..stuff is assumed. See? Who HASN'T that happened to here? Not directed you at all Horses06 (and I am smiling!) just voicing a frustration that I keep hearing about..and have experienced myself (can you believe it??)..lets all just lighten up a bit, not freak and run-assuming (unless it is just out and out rude you know)..and just chill on this site a bit. Love to ya!

` Amen to that. I couldn't agree more with what you say Plainsgirl. You're right we all need to just lighten up and relax. I mean why can't people just get to know each other without getting freaked out over the tiniest things and running away without first finding out what was meant? Life isn't easy, relationships have their ups and downs and no one in this world is perfect WE need to give each other a chance, not skim the surface and move on when something is less than perfect, but actually take the time to find things out, and give that person a real chance to open up and be their true selves. Who knows you might actually come to find that you and the other person have things in common, share similar veiws on things or have a lot of the same interests, but because we're all so focused on petty things such as appeareance, weight, hieght, location ect, we miss out on some really nice people. Maybe even miss out on that one special person. WE need to start takeing chances and stop playing this game of who needs to take the initiative. WE all need to take the initiative. WE all need to take a chance. Little in this life is simply handed to us, more often than not we need to work to get it. That's what I'm doing here, working at finding more friends, as well as that special Native man that posesses an open mind and heart. Who here will give me a chance? Who here will at least make an attempt to get to know me or anyone else on this site, by actually getting to know me/them, and not think they know me/others because they read my or another's profile? I am more than my profile as is everyone else on this site. I'm not genereally so in your face about things. I'm just tired of those who prejudge or simply aren't serious. Come on every one get to know each other write that person you've been working up the courage to write or who worked up the courage to write you. You never know what could happen.
